Joe Biden was vice president of the United States from 2009 to 2017, serving under President Barack Obama. Previously, he served as U.S. Senator from Delaware from 1973 to 2009. He served as chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee. He received his law degree from Syracuse University.
Kamala Harris has served as U.S. Senator from California since 2017. She began her career in the Alameda County District Attorney’s office, then served in the San Francisco District Attorney’s office and City Attorney of San Francisco’s office. She was elected district attorney of San Francisco and attorney general of California. She is a graduate of the University of California Hastings College of the Law.
